Dan Wesson - model 11/12 barrels question

Does anyone know - are the extra barrels for the Dan Wesson .357 model 11 interchangeable with the model 12?

Comments on durability of the early model with the external nut?

Any information is helpful.

Sir:
If you have the Dan Wesson with the shroud and external nut fire about two cylinder fulls of 357 and making sure the gun is enpty tighten the nut that holds the shroud on and bbl. tight. Fire fairly fast to heat and elongate the barrel.
When you're in a situation where you need to like fire up a stairwell be careful - the rim can hang up and cause the cylinder to "stick".
I would think all Dan Wesson barrels that use the nut will interchange but I'm not sure.

Anyone else certain on the barrel questions with the two models - I would think they would work - but not certain.
