I'm new to this site, and hope to pick up some good info from the members. I have a Dan Wesson 15-2 with a vent heavy 6" barrel, and I also have a vent heavy 8" barrel that I bought on a whim, and has been shot very little. (Maybe 30-40 rounds total) The 8" barrel is still in the original box with the anti-rust paper that it was shipped in.
My question is this: I want a 4" barrel, (either vent heavy or vent regular) to make the gun more practical for carry, and would be willing to swap the 8" that I never use for a 4" in really good shape. Would I be better off selling the 8" and looking for a 4" to buy, or do you guys know of somewhere or someone who would have a barrel to swap??
