Dan Wesson Action Job

Can anyone recommend a good gunsmith for an action job on a Dan Wesson .357. I called Cylinder and Slide and they do not do action jobs on Dan Wesson's.

Thanks

There is a gunsmith in the Seattle area named Cunningham (sorry I don't remember his first name) who is supposed to be very good at tuning DW's. He was written up several years ago by Ayoob as the guy to go too for DW's. No personal experience with the guy myself. Maybe try the internet for his name and number. His wife makes holsters for women. I know she had a website at one time.

Tough to find some one that really knows DWs.

A couple of recommendations for you.
Check and see if there's a IHMSA Match or club in your area. If there is, someone's bound to have the name of a smith that knows DW's.
Another is to contact Novak Sights. They recommended a gentleman in Vermont that is supposed to work wonders. I talked with him but never followed through on the job. He seemed pretty knowledgeable. As this was 5 years ago, I don't even know if he's still around.
Another option is to start by ordering a Wolf spring kit and installing it yourself. This will lighten the action a bit but won't do much for any creep.
Take Care
