there is a DW 44 mag at the shop that is as new with adjustable sights and nice wood grips with a six inch barrel. I was wondering what your opinion of the Dan Wesson guns are.
The revolver is large and has the removable barrel but no tool or other barrels but is a high polish blue handles nice and is balanced, I can get it foe $300 or is that to much?

That sounds fairly reasonable to me for a DW. I hope one of the more knowledgable members will respond, as I know theres some reference to their qualilty based on the city of manufacture stamped on the frame.

I have a DW 715 which is a Med-Large frame revolver in .357. I like the gun alot. Seems as sturdy as my Ruger GP-100 and as smooth as my S&W 586. If you do buy the gun, make sure to order a barrel wrench for it. I found with my 715 that it takes just the right amount of torque on the barrel nut and I don't have to mess with it. Once you get used to it, it really is a great gun, and for $300 it's a good deal. Hope that helps.
