What is the quality of a Dan Wesson 357? I have one of there 44's and love it. I just picked up the 357 with a 6in barrel for $168 used.

I have owned three Dan Wesson 357 [two have been model 15's]. The gun is a strong as the old S&W models 27/28, Ruger Security Six. was well satisfied.
 
Dan Wessons are among the best bargains in the used revolver market. The .357 you just picked up is probably a Model 15. If it hasn't been abused by the previous owner(s), it will handle any .357 loads out there and a whole lot of them to boot. Enjoy your new revolver.
