Dan Wesson .357 question: help!

Hi. I'm new to this forum and to the adventure of owning a revolver. I recently purchased a used Dan Wesson .357 model 15 revolver. Now I'm exploring the matter of getting an additional barrel for that gun. I've been to the Dan Wesson website, but that wasn't helpful for the information I need. Maybe some of you Dan-Wessonites out there can help:

Does Dan Wesson make only one revolver in the .357, namely the model 15? I've seen a couple of .357 barrels for sale (e.g. on ebay), but it doesn't specifically say that they are model 15.

Can anyone suggest other places I can get a 6" barrel for a .357 model 15?

Thanks in advance in for any help y'all can give.

There have been older models with different shroud designs. Also at one time the barrel nut was on the outside of the shroud. There is a large frame model that can fire .357mag cartridge.
You can call the factory to order parts, but for auction sites just look at the shroud. If it matches what you have then it will fit if it's listed as a M15. You do know that the shrouds come in different configurations (full lugged, partial lugged, etc.)?

Maybe I live in gun store nirvana but of the eight gun stores within an hours drive at least one of them usually has a barrel asm for sale.

IOW's,checking your local gun stores might turn up what you're after.

BTW,you didn't mention if the gun came w/the feeler gauge & the wrench.
It did,didn't it?

Call or email the factory. Bob Serva or someone else there will get back to you. They are an unusually responsive company, or at least have been. They were recently acquired by CZ, so there may be some lag (I'm sure there are lots of issues with the merger.) My experience has been customer service second to none.

dan wesson 357mag

I own a dan wesson 15-2 357mag monsoon pistol pack (revolver) 2.5,4,6,8" barrels. auction arms, gunbroker, and goammerica are the best places to find dan wesson guns and parts.
