Damn Scary

From the article:

If you look around the United States, we were a stable nation before 1965 with a population mostly of European and African citizens and mostly one religion.

Who is this guy kidding? The United States was ready to explode with racial tension before 1965. Lynchings, mobs, and the seeds of riot were all there. Does he think the civil rights movement and the race riots just sprang up out of thing air?

I think including minorities into conservative platforms is absolutely KEY to maintaining gun rights. It makes absolutely no sense to me why people pursue this kind of thinking a democracy. The whole idea is to get more people to vote for your position by appealing to them on rational or other grounds, not to tell them you don't want their support because they don't look like you.

Unless you are a Native American, We all came from somewhere else.

POOF Magic, "Native Americans" didn't just appear here. They came from somewhere else too. I'm pretty sure I was born in this country, which makes me a "Native American". Can I call my house and property a sovereign nation? Can I run a casino from MY sovereign nation? I understand that it's not right to take land from someone else, but wait, that's how countries have been formed for thousands of years. Is it right, NO. Does it work, Yes. Maybe the immigration is just retribution for the "White Man" taking the land. But, as in all conquest attempts there must be a loser. I for one will not stand by and watch this country be taken away.

FYI, it's not some magic federal gift to the Indians. Native Americans have special rights because they negotiated those rights with the federal government at various points in history. It's your own government and its laws that give Native Americans things like reservations. And believe me, take a drive through most reservations...indian life ain't sweet for the most part.

Just because you were born here doesn't mean you're Native American. People who have american indian blood in them are considered Native American!

To the government, only if their tribe qualifies. There's a couple tribes in NC that have been trying for decades.

Does this information have to be racialy motivated, or can it be taken as fact? The facts of the story state that millions and millions of ILLEGAL people are flooding into this country, and are taking up jobs and getting benifits designed to take care of LEGAL american citizens. I don't think its a racial statement really. The facts are that 90% of these people happen to be of other races. The real concern is that there are so many illegals in this country, that owe no allegance to this country. That is the problem. They are breaking the law, and should be punished under the law. Period.

Even if the basic information is taken as fact, the conclusions drawn from those "facts" thoroughly discredit the entire premise of the articles. Worse, couched in the language and terms used, its evident that the author has a very clear agenda based on race.

If you want to be taken seriously, drop the hyperbole, bluster, and bull****.
