The best overall quality of any single shot that's generally available at prices that while not cheap, far less than a custom with custom like fit/finish/accuracy.
I had a .270 one, that I lucked into used, very reasonably.
I found it to handle a lot like a good shotgun, and accurate - but one of my cousins just wouldn't leave me alone, unless I sold it to him, which I eventually did.
