Daisy Legacy 2012 Magazine?

I have a Daisy Legacy that I have owned since I was 8. We have moved 4 times in the past two years, and both of the 10 round Magazine I had have been lost. I have been searching on google for some time now, and found that I can order them through Daisy for (last year) $4.95 each. However, I came across another forum where a member stated that you can use the Ruger 10/22 Mags in these guns. Looking at the two side-by-side, I would say you could, with minor modifications. It appears the mag release on the 10/22 was ON the mag, whereas it isnt on the Daisy.

Can anyone here confirm either way?

Unless you can figure out how to take the release off of the 10/22 clip, I would suggest trying gunbroker.com or getting a 10/22 banana clip. The banana clip does not have the release on the clip and it will fit on the Legacy, with some minor modifications. However, my suggestion is to go to gunbroker.com and order an original mag if they have them. If they don't, check back often because they are constantly adding new parts.
