CZ97-.45Super?

Other than the full size *&*,Glock21 and the 1911's,it seems
the makers say, "no to 45SUPER conversions".Is anyone out there firing the Supers thru the CZ 97,can it take it,is it SAFE?Not a steady diet but on occasion.

Think .450 SMC

That's Short Magnum Cartridge. It's the same as .45 Super, but with a small primer. Triton Ammo produces it. I's quary them about using it in a CZ97. You might also try Wolff Gunsprings and see what they have to say.

And just between you and I, I've done some work with the .45 Super, and I don't think that YOU can stand a steady diet of full house .45 Supers. I save mine for special purposes only. I "plink" with my IDPA/USPSA load.
