CZ75B Trigger pin shoots loose

If I were to replace the trigger pin on my CZ75B, can I just push the new one in as the old one gets pushed out on the other side of the frame?
Looking at the parts diagram, it seems that as long as I maintain some (downward) finger pressure on the trigger spring during the precedure so that it doesn't fly out, it should be a simple task?
Has someone actually tried this?

That *should* work OK. I've detail stripped mine and the re-assembly of the trigger/spring is a real pain. You have to use a short slave pin to hold it all together while you slide it into the frame. But what you want to do should work. The question is will it fix your problem.
Another way would be to use a slightly smaller drift punch to remove the pin to the right. Then push the new pin in from the right, pushing the punch out to the left.
Good luck.

Many guns are designed so the pins come out easier one way, usually to the right; and go back in the other way, to the left. As it's a roll pin, it probably doesn't matter much. It's generally easier to drift out a pin with a punch than with another pin so as not to damage the new pin, but if yours is real loose, that may not be an issue.

Sailor45, I have successfully replaced the trigger pin ..thx.
By the way, my original trigger pin is not a true roll pin in that while it has 2 hollows at the end (where the flaring is done) it is otherwise a solid pin.

You need to re-flare the ends of the trigger pin with your punch and hammer to prevent walking. I use a brass punch and hammer. Your other pin was probably fine...may have just needed to be flared a bit more.

Didn't the earlier 75s (pre-B's?) come with solid trigger pins that don't require flaring? While the flaring would prevent pin "walking", I've heard comments that CZ switched to the current design primarily because of the lower (manufacturing) costs....
