Ive made up my mind on my next purchase. CZ75 Compact in the dual tone finish. Nickel frame with black Polymer slide. It is however only available in 9mm. My question is will the .40sw top end from EAA/Tanfoglio fit my frame? They're about $200.00 which includes slide, barrel and recoil guide/spring. With minor fitting, can it be done. Ive seen Para Ordnance/Colt hybrids, I'd think it would be the same thing. The originol with a clone. Can it be done.

Jason-according to Latest issue of American Rifleman, The Compact is going to be available in 40 S&W this year. A little patience may be better than parts swapping (am also waiting for one)
 
FWIW, my CZ 9mm top end will fit onto, and function with, my CZ .40 lower, but not in reverse. I would wait for the one made that way from CZ.
