CZ slide stop not activating, help!

I just bought a CZ85 in 9mm. With the 10-round mag, the slide locks to the rear no problem. But with the 15-rounder, the slide won't lock back consistently. Sometimes it will, but as soon as you drop the mag, the slide moves into battery. Weak mag springs?

Copythat, the spring is certainly a possiblity but It's more likey that the part of the follower that engages the stop is not high enough. If you can adjust it, bend it up a little. If you can't a stronger spring might be your only alternative. George

I'v got the opposite problem - the slide locks back with one round still in the mag. Any ideas?

Bob, it sounds like your follower is engaging the stop early. You should be able to adjust (bend) it downward a little. George
