cz revolvers

None what so ever... but I did find an interesting information link to the actual manufacturer, ALFA proj. They've been around since 1993 and are certified in accordance with ISO 9001 : 2000 standard. The sport model, shown below, looks particularly interesting... if you're into that sort of gun. :D

The sport model is quite interesting. Looking at a 4 incher with adjustable sites (out of stock at czechpoint) Pretty affordable, I'd say, but don't know about quality or reliability which is why I asked. I guess you get what you pay for, eh?

The Czechs make great weapons as a rule. I would expect these to also be good. However, I have never seen one in person to know. For the price, I would be very interested.

After reading their history and the production capacity... 25K guns, 30K handcuffs and leg irons, from a total of 140 employees... and them being the second largest producer of "short arms" in the Czech Republic, I'd be inclined to give them a go as well.

Too bad any of the threads and videos regarding these guns are, so far, dumb, useless, or about the older Spanish Alfa revolvers. :(

That revolver is not made by CZ. Don't confuse the name CZ with the importer Czechpoint. Two completely different companies. Oh and the revolver is made by Alfa Proj, kind of the Czech version of a Charter Arms, or Taurus and that may even be an insult to CA and Taurus.

Isn't everything made in Czechoslovakia technically a CZ? But seriously, I understand they are not made in the same factory, etc. But the Czech's do make some good stuff, and these are quite reasonably priced.

I see alot about fit, finish, etc., but how do they shoot? History is full of "cheap" guns that are actually decent shooters. I found a Noble 22 rifle the other day for 100 bucks. Looked around on the web and they seem to have a pretty good rep as shooters. Seems like modern stuff, you get what you pay for. Didn't seem to be that way in the past. Maybe I'm just getting old.
