CZ Rail System? Which do I have?

Hello,

Could someone please tell me what type of rail my CZ P-07 Duty has? I am breaking my long held aversion to do-dads hanging off my firearms and am going to be getting a light for this pistol - my carry pistol.

Also, where might I find a holster (preferably IWB) that can accommodate this pistol with a light.

Thanks & God Bless!

Pan

PS: Specific brands/items are MOST welcome! My budget isn't high. No more than $50. Thanks again!

It should be a "1913" style rail.

Bravo Concealment offers a number of holster options for pistols with lights. They are often around $75 though. However they do a 15% off or similar sale pretty often and my guess is they'll do the same for Black Friday. If you subscribe to their newsletter you'll get the notification.

The Streamlight TLR-3 is the cheapest light I'd recommend, coincidentally also at $75. For me personally I'd step up to the TLR-1 for the increased output and to me somewhat more robust design, but I get that budgets are what they are. Either light will come with an insert 1913 "key" that will fit your rail.

Thanks!

Thanks, TunnelRat! Exactly what I needed to know! I can certainly spring for the $75 dollar one, perhaps even the $100 one.

Much appreciated!

tunnel rat hit the nail on the head. I would also suggest stepping up to the TLR-1, it seems to have more holster availablilty than the tlr3

Glad I could help! If you don't mind, post a picture of your setup when you get it all sorted. I'm currently fighting the urge to pick up a P07 at my local store.

tunnelrat, I am in the same boat as you right now. I recently sold my glock 34 and am between buying a p07 or an m&p 9. Problem is I carry an m&p shield, so a FS m&p would compliment it nicely. And on my nightstand is a cz SP-01 and a p07 would compliment it nicely as a carry gun. Decisions decisions

Another recommendation for the Streamlight TLR-3. I actually prefer it to the TLR-1 due to the smaller size and lighter weight.

In a typical pistol-range encounter, its lower lumen output is not a huge detriment, and as far as the durability of its polymer housing goes, well, most of us typically trust polymer frames on pistols with nary a second thought (and the polymer Streamlight uses is quite robust).

Yea that really is a pickle since going either way works nicely.

For me I'm at the point where I'm just bored. I've owned most of what is out on the market. I did own a P-07 Duty and thought it was okay, just wasn't thrilled with it. The newer ones seem to be finished much nicer. I also like that the safety/decocker can be switched like it can.

Wherein I sing the Praises of the CZ P-07

I can't tell you how much I've enjoyed my P-07! I bought mine a few years ago (they've since made some minor cosmetic changes) and have fallen in love. I lent it to my father @ one year ago and he went out and bought one for himself. I am no more than a casual shooter, but he has been an avid shooter for 50+ years. This should give yu an idea as to it's quality. He tells me it shoots better than any comparable gun he's ever fired.n His is the newer version, but the changes are all just cosmetic.

If I do 'pull the trigger' on a rail mounted light, and can remember, I'll post a pic.

Thanks to all of y'all!
