CZ Fans-CZ75D-PCR

Just a question for any CZ fan's out there. Amazing how these guns crept under my radar all these years! Go figure.
The PCR looks like a winner, but for the life of me I can't find anyone who has one in stock.
Is there really that much demand? Is there anywhere on the web that has them priced and ready to go save for the various gun auctions?
One more question, why don't they make the CZ-85 "Combat" with non-adjustable sights. Always though adjustables were just one more thing Murphy could mess with.:D

Thanks,

Jon

I think the "Combat" is more for matches.
I think that the CZ line, while increasingly popular, is not as well known as it should be.

CZ kinda roared onto the market...

I did not encounter them commonly until recently but its almost always the 75B.

I see very few PCRs and for that matter all CZ models are not too common but part of that is due to the fact that the 75B IS encountered in some numbers.(Turkish contract guns)

The CZ line is underpriced for what it is because there are so many 75Bs too sell. As those numbers decrease I look for prices on all their models to increase. I hope when the P-01s get here the price of the PCR will drop. Might be day dreaming since PCR was never overproduced in all likelyhood. We'll see. CZ Connection give me an expected price on the P-01 of 399 or what they are trying to sell the PCR for at this time.

I am not a fan if adjustable sights either.

Eric,

Appreciate the info concerning J&G. I'll see what my local gunshop says.
As for the rest I gott agree CZ's fit all my criteria for a good, solid, dependable, for an excellent price.
Solid steel high-cap 9mm's seem to be going the way of the buffalo, polymer is in. (sarcastic)

9mm

I have to say, I have a beretta 92fs, walther p5, hk p7m8, browning hi power, and a cz75 and I love them all for different reasons and I will probably get yelled at for this but the cz is what is next to my bed at nights. I think everyone has to have one. I also have the 22 conversion for it and I love to plink with it, you get to use the same trigger pull and weight of the gun which is a good tool to work with.

I chose a CZ-75 PCR over a Sig 225 at the same price point, $399 each and I have no regrets. I have a full size CZ-75B Mil also and love it.

Elliot,

I also have a Walther P-5, HK P7M8, BHP and my CZ's listed above. No Beretta, but give me time! (My BHP is at bedside.) You have good taste sir!

I have one PCR and am buying another in May. It's always good to have a backup, right? They are almost perfect. If CZ would produce a factory SA variant, they would have the perfect 9mm pistol.

PCRs can be tough to find. Your best bet is to get a list of stocking dealers from CZ-USA and then call every one in your state. Also, be aware, that finding leather for a PCR can be a pain. I use a Don Hume JIT made for a Berrata 92FS, and have also seen a Galco Combat Master for a Sig P228 work well. Kydex? Blade-Tech might have something, no one else does at present.

I bought a PCR last year around November for $385.00 locally. This is now my carry gun and bedside gun. I have no complaints with it. It is an excellent pistol. I would also like to get another one, but there are also alot of other flavors out there that are also tempting to try.

As far a leather goes, I have settled on a black Galco Yaqui Slide Belt Holster. This fits the PCR perfectly (adjustable).
