Has anyone had Mike(the gunsmith at CZ-USA)do a trigger job? Did you have both DA/SA done, or just SA? How do you like it?, and was it worth the $125(da/sa), $65(sa)? Thanks

Several folks on the CZ forum

have had Mike do trigger jobs for them, and rave about his work. I've not used him for trigger jobs, but have talked with him several times about problem situations. Very knowledgeable guy.

I've talk to Mike a few time about other things and he's been right on target. I've also read a lot of other posts (www.CZForum.com) from other owners who have used him and sware by him.

To me, it's sort of like whether you want to send your new sports car to the "shade tree mechanic" or back to the dealership where you bought it. Who's going to do the best job?

Mike is a square shooter and does good work. I sent my CZ 85 to Teddy Jacobson because he was a little faster and did some other work. Even though he's not a big fan of CZ's, he did a great job.

One thing about Mike, if he tells you it will be four weeks, you'll probably get it in three - the opposite of many smiths. I had to send mine back for a warranty repair (free - on a 9 year old pistol!) and he promised it in four, sent it back in two.
