CZ 97 mags

After a recent trip to my friendly neighborhood gun store I noticed a pristine used CZ 97 and let me put it this way: The arousal factor is very high!

Are there any non-gelded pre-ban mags available for this girl? If so, how many rounds do they have, how much do they cost, and where can I get them?

Thanks

Non-gelded? What you see is what you get!

The 10-rounders are about as many rounds of .45 you could hope to get in the magazine. There's no extra space in that mag. Anything else would stick WAY DOWN and be in the way.

Incidentally, the Mec-Gar mags for the EAA Witness .45 full-size gun work beautifully in CZ-97, and they're available from CDNN for under $20. (Pro-Mags work well, too, and are even less expensive.)

MecGar makes the 97 factory mags. Mine have the MecGar stamp on them. I might order one of those EAA mags from CDNN and compare them with what came with my pistol.

Walt,

I got very interested in your info that Witness .45 mags from CDNN can be used in CZ97B. I did call CDNN and the guy said
it's not true. However, I have no reason to believe that you're
wrong. Please confirm that you have practical experience of
using Witness mags in CZ97B, that would be good enough for me.
Thank you.

I bought some Mec-Gar mags from CDNN for my CZ-97.
The only difference from the mags that came with it is the CDNN mags are marked "MG Wit .45", while the factory mags were just marked ".45"
They were orderd from CDNN as for ".45 EAA Witness"
(since CDNN doesn't list them for CZ-97) & they work just fine.
10 is all you're gonna be able to stuff in that pistol.
