CZ-75's with Decockers

One quick question for those with CZ-75's that have decockers instead of military version safeties.

When you decock the pistol, does the hammer rest on the full down position (a la CZ-75B) or in the middle (like a SIG, for example)?

Thanks guys.

If the hammer does return to the half-cock position, why is it one should not do the same with the normal CZ-75 models (with safeties)?

just a guess...

Folks who carry the normal CZ's probably carry them C&L, and have a nice short, light trigger pull.
If you carry the decocker models, I'd hope they are carried hammer down, and maybe the half-cocked position gives you a safe carry condition with a ligher, shorter trigger pull.

No reason at all not to carry the non decocker equiped ones at half cock. Of course that is as long as you have a 75B and not a 75 as the 75B has a firing pin safety and shouldn't be able to fire even if the hammer sliped unless the trigger is held back (like you are pulling it!)

I carried mine that way before I got a decocker model. It' really lightens and shortens the trigger pull.
