CZ-75B Safety

As I understand, it is normal for the hammer on a CZ-75B to move a little bit when the trigger is pulled while the safety is engaged (I noticed that the safety moves a little as well).

Can anyone tell me why this is so? What is the mechanism for this and what is the reason for it?

Yes, this is normal. I'm not sure exactly why, but every CZ75 I have does this. Best.

There's a little protrusion on the front-left side of the sear. The safety's hump keeps this protrusion from moving down. If there's a little space between the hump and protrusion, the hammer, et al, can move.
