This is the main attraction, the star of the show. I was going to buy only this one but then we agreed on what I consider a good deal on two guns including the 1978 I posted separately. I paid 1750.- Swiss francs for the pair, which is equivalent to 1960.- US$.

So, number 01056, one of 54 produced in 1975 (plus 5 prototypes). I understand those were pre-production examples, as the real production only started in 1977 (and only 18 were produced in 1976).

It is also in great condition, almost as new and no apparent wear (I have not field stripped it yet). One mag only, serialised to the gun, no box or manual.

The extractor has a plum colour

The trigger is black and serrated instead of silver and smooth on the production models

I took both to the 25 meters indoor range today.

Shot the 1978 first

Seems to shoot a tad left for me

I bought a cheap MTM rest from Brownells, to confirm

Better centred for me

The 1975 seems to have a better trigger pull, I’ll need to measure them. However the serrated trigger is quite aggressive on the trigger finger.

What a thrill shooting those historical firearms
