CZ 75 range: slide stop with extended release bar. Ever made?

When I look (lovingly) at my SP-01, I can see that there are about 3-4mm between the slide-release/slide-stop lever and the safety catch. I wondered if anyone had ever made an extended version to ease the reach with the thumb.

I can reach with mine, but it is by no means the most comfortable. Whilst I tend to release it with my support hand, being able to do it with my strong hand.

Re: extended slide stop.

At one time I had a compact, and picked up an extended slide release for a Witness pistol. (I don't know whether that was a factory option or an after-market part.) It worked beautifully, and I foolishly left it on the gun when I sold it. The width of the frame varies slightly with some CZ models, and it may or may not work with your gun. But check around for a Tanfoglio extended lever if you can't find anything suitable from CZ sources.
