CZ-75 Questions

Based on all the reports I see here on TFL, I think I need to add a CZ-75 to my collection. The shops around here don't stock any nor seem to know much about them. I have small hands so the grip and trigger reach could be a problem. How does the grip and trigger reach compare to a Ruger P-95? How much shorter is the trigger reach in single action vs double action? Also, what should I expect to pay? Thanks for your input!

sandbagger,
Which 75b do you want.? You can get a mil" gun for 300-350$ with a hi cap mag. I cant tell you about the trigger length in relation to a P" ruger. Some people with smaller hands do run into problems with the 75 series. I can tell you s/a trigger is shorter than d/a pull. I havent measured...yet.
Shoot well

The DA trigger reach is a little long, but not even close to a problem for me. It's fairly comparable to the DA trigger on my H&K compact. The SA trigger should be fine... and since the CZ-75 can be carried cocked and locked, you may never have to use the DA trigger.

SandBagger, Where in N.C. are you? I'm in Wiston Salem and the range I shoot at has free rental on the CZ75 they have. If you are close you could test it out. Also they have some 15 round mags for sell. I also am cursed with small hands. But I have gotten used to readjusting my grip in DA position to suit the gun. Sure it is not a textbook correct grip, but it works. But the SA trigger position is just fine. I also had to get used to the free travel in the SA position before the point where the trigger releases the hammer. But I'm used to it now and it is fine. All in all. I'm very happy with the gun and enjoy shooting it. It's just a little heavy for carrying in my opinion. But hey, I'll get some suspenders.

My CZ 75B WAS a bit thick thru the grips for me, as it had the "ergo" plastic drips that are standard with the "Military", but after I put the factory rubber grips on, it solved my problem. Now DA is much better, also can now reach the slide release. Gun shoots better now, as I have a more comfortable grip.

Have both, the Ruger and CZ. The DA pull on the Ruger is shorter, but the pull on the CZ is better. The length of pull on the CZ can be shortened by carrying the gun on half-cock or by using the cocked and locked option.
