CZ 75 Kadet supressor

Hey guys, I think I'd like to get the ball rolling on a supressor for my Kadet slide on my 75BD. If you could point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it.

So far I understand the $200 tax, but don't know where to get the form. Also I know nothing of decent supressors, adaptors and where/how to get the muzzle threaded.

I'm in NW Virginia if that helps.

Here is some suggested reading: http://www.advanced-armament.com/owners.asp

that will get you started on the legal requirements.

The first thing I would suggest is find a C3 or C2 dealer. The dealer should be able to point you in the right direction for barrel threading -- many times the Mfg of the suppressor you select is the very best bet to get the threading done right. Each Mfg has dealers they work with:

AAC -- http://www.advanced-armament.com/map.asp
Gemtech Dealers -- http://www.gem-tech.com/dealer.html

Another couple of mfgs to consider:

SWR -- http://www.swrmfg.com/home.asp
SRT -- http://www.srtarms.com/

My personal favorites from the .22 lr suppressor list are the Gemtech Outback II, the AAC Pilot, the SWR Warlock, and the SRT Cheyenne XL.

Ah, that's more my speed. For something that's just for fun, I'm not looking to blow $600+.

Thanks, you're quite the resource.

Somebody

Somebody on czforum.com has one. I'd try to get get in touch with them. Looks pretty neat. Unfortunately, you have to go through some contortions due to CZ-USA not offering an extended and threaded barrel.

Here's the text of a thread I put up on czforum.com

I wish we could convince CZ-USA to
-Drill and tap the top of the Kadet for a scope rail
-Offer an extended threaded barrel for a suppressor
-Offer higher capacity magazines. Not important to me, but others care.

If they offered those things, they could sell the crap out of the Kadet. People buy P22s just for suppressing, and the Kadet is absolutely superior to the P22.

Anybody up for an email campaign?

Kadet barrel..

You will have to spend about $180.00 and have your barrel modified and a adapter made for .5x28tpi threads. I've done a LOT of looking for this particular item (as it's my next .22 purchase), and haven't been able to find anything pertaining to. (you can also contact OnlyTheBestFirearms.Com, and ask them if they have just the conversion kits w/cans available).

Doug @ SRT Arms can do the work. (www.srtarms.com)

If you want your Kadet to sound like a pellet gun you want to go with AAC's Pilot or Aviator (currently the quietest suppressor available) or Gem-tech's Outback-II.

I currently own the Pilot and Outback II cans. Both sound so close that unless you have VERY GOOD hearing and a LOT of suppressor experience, you wont be able to tell the two apart. Both are guaranteed for life, and both offer the best product for the money. Hands down the most bang (or lack thereof) for your buck!
