CZ 75 Compact

I've decided that it's just not worth the extra $300 for an HK USP compact, especially since the CZ 75 compact can go cocked and locked as well.

So...Does anyone know if there are full-cap mags available for the compact 75? I know that the full-size 75 has plentiful 15-rounders out there. Oh, for the record, I'm not talking about the alloy PCR model--I'm looking at the steel one.

You can also use the 15rd full size CZ75 magazines - they just stick out a little. If I were to carry my CZ compact I'd use full-size mags for reloads.

Good choice, BTW.

I hope you enjoy it..mine is a really nice shooter, again. Check out the Hakan grips on that one forum. They are an awesome deal for handmade grips...and hi caps are available sometimes.
If and when you can find them, they are 13 rnd mags...

shoot well

When you use the 15-round full-size mags in the compact, do they always seat properly? Reminds me of the problems people have with 10-round 1911 mags that stick out.

If they seat as well and as reliably as the compact mags, sounds good to me for a spare mag.

I use full-size 92 mags in my 92 Compact, and they seat/function fine. They do stick out a little, but they work flawlessly. Plus, they increase capacity form 13 rds in the magazine to 17 rds! I don't believe you will have any problems with the full size CZ mags working in a CZ compact.

15 round mags...

I use 15 round Pro mags at the range. They have been flawless with over 1000 rounds of re-loads. The extend about 1/4 inch out the bottom. I hardly notice the extension and adds 50% to the # of rounds carried. It is combat accurate and has never ever failed me.

Questions about the 75 Compact PCR version:

Are they rated to shoot +P ammo (due to the alloy frame)?

Do they have the "B" (firing pin block)?

I handled one of these at my dealer, and was very surprised how lightweight it was. The slide was also nice and narrow, unlike HK's offerings. With +P I'm thinking it would be a real good carry piece, if it can handle it.

As far as I know, all CZ's are rated for any and all factory ammo.
They are built in Czech and I believe they use the NATO spec for production not SAAMI. Typically, NATO has higher pressure ceiling .......
The PCR does have the Firing Pin Block...if it was built after the date of the change.

Shoot well
