The CZ75 Compact are well proportioned but very heavy. All of them are "B" models, in fact they were the first CZ pistols to have the passive firing pin safety. The CZ75 Compact, unless you get the decocker version or carry cocked and locked, will require the hammer manually lowered on a chambered round. This makes a lot of people nervous and I don't recommend it for someone that doesn't have a lot of experience.
The PCR gets the nod because of the alloy frame and decocker. It's much lighter and easier to operate.
One problem that I have with the compact is the shape of the slide release lever. No matter what grip I use I manage to lock the slide back on a loaded mag. Never had this problem with the full size models.
Preban mags can be had but are both rare and expensive. The only company that I know carries them is
www.cdnninvestments.com They used to sell for $70 plus shipping, but I'm not even sure they carry them anymore. Even factory postban mags are pricey. CZ-USA sells them for $35 plus shipping.
There are many other compact 9mm put there. Have you considered a SIG Sauer P239? The grip is slimmer, plenty of after market stuff like grips available, and if you look you're only talking about a $50 price difference.
