Howdy,
I've had this pistol for about 5 months - run about 500 rounds down the tube and have struggled with a couple of minor problems, mostly FTE issues. I've been shooting mostly WW White Box ammo with a little (200 rounds) of handloads (WW brass, CCI primer, 4.7 gr. Unique, 125 gr. plated Berry bullet). Gun functions just fine when its working but Sunday afternoon at the range (temp was 103) it FTF and when I attempted to clear the jam (?) by racking the slide, the slide would not rack far enough to the rear to feed the next round. I cleared the mag and the weapon and attempted to disassemble the gun. While the take down pin removed okay, I cannot get the slide to remove from the gun. The hammer is in full cock and the trigger will not activate the hammer....seems like the gun is fully jammed? At any rate, after all this prelude, what can I do to pull the slide and inspect the gun? I'm at a loss.
Decided to call CZ and discussed the lock up with one of their gunsmiths. He suggested sending the gun back for repair / rework - stating that this was a known failure. I'm apprehensive about shipping the gun across the US via FedEx but decided that I need the expert advise so its "in the mail". I'll let ya'll know what I find out.
Thanks for any / all assistance.
