I had a good day on the range today. Took my 9mm BHP, 9mm CZ 75 BD with new .22 conversion Kadet kit and .22 Ruger MkII Target. The CZ is shooting better than the BHP, but in all fairness, I am still having a problem with my front sight creeping on the BHP. One of the range officers suggested that I get it drilled and pinned. Has anyone done that?
The real fun came with the .22s. The CZ changes to a .22 by removing the slide/barrel/spring and replacing it with a .22 unit. New mags have .22 inserts welded in. The CZ shoots great. Not as good as the Ruger Target, but then the Ruger has a 5 1/2" barrel and about a 2lb trigger. I shot almost 2 full 550 round boxes of Remington jacketed hollow point. Mostly at 15 and 25 yds. I can't get the CZ to group as tight as the Ruger, but shoot it respectable for a rookie.
