CZ 75 B trigger?

After putting a few hundred rounds through my new 9mm 75 B the only thing I might change is the trigger. It's smooth in both SA and DA but the slack take up with the two stage SA pull is considerable and the trigger itself could be longer, that is protrude further out into the trigger guard. Does anyone make an aftermarket trigger that's an improvement on the original and how difficult would it be to install?
 
I put a Short Reset Package from CGW in my 97b and it made all the difference in the world. Just purchased a Rami and I am going to do the same exact mod.

I also recommend CGW for an improved trigger for your CZ75. I installed their "Reach Reduction Kit" in my CZ75B. This kit includes the 85C model trigger which is straighter than the standard trigger, and the kit results in the trigger placement in a more comfortable position. The kit also includes a set screw that lets you adjust for over-travel. This kit does not change the amount of take up, but it does lighten the feel, and puts your finger in a more comfortable position, which for me improved my grip. My primary goal for this kit was to eliminate "trigger sting" which I was getting with the standard trigger, and this kit accomplished that as well.

CZ also offers a similar trigger, but that type of trigger won't work in a gun that retains DA/SA function -- it will only function properly in a SAO gun. (Either the CZ or the EAA versions of the CZ-pattern guns can be easily adapted to SAO.) That's what was meant above, when folks said you can do it if you want SAO.

The CZ two-way adjustable trigger is straight, and has adjustments for both overtravel and take up.

CZ-Custom and Cajun Gun Works offer kits that allow for shorter trigger pulls (and less takeup) that may be almost as good.

The problem with EAA parts for Witness guns is that they work great in Witnesses and some Tanfoglio models, but most Tanfoglio-made parts won't work in a CZ (and vice versa). Little things like pin diameters are different and there are subtle differences elsewhere. (The newer Tanfoglio guns are based on a frame that is much larger than the standard CZ, but a bit smaller than the CZ-97 and their IPSC guns, like the Tactical Sport or Czechmate.)

Many 1911s are clones. But even though they're clones, some parts must be hand fit... Being a clone helps, but it's not a panacea.

CZ pattern-guns aren't clones, and the only folks who think they are, are simply uninformed. Usually only magazines and some spring are interchangeable.

CZ 75 B trigger

Thanks to all for the info. I finally got around to calling CZ Custom re their single action trigger and figured for $40 I'd get one. The guy I talked to saved me forty bucks, said just changing out the trigger would make little to no difference in the trigger pull; to get a significant improvement I would have to also change out the hammer, hammer spring and remove or polish the safety block in addition to the changing trigger. I'll give him credit, gave me a good explanation and didn't try to push a sale for the additional parts. Maybe later but for now I'll try getting used to it as is.
