My brother recently purchased this gun for home defense and we had a chance to take it out today and see what it could do. We found out that it will not autoload bird shot for clay targets with approximately 1100 muzzle velocity. However, 00 buc in 2 3/4 and 3in mag load with an approx 1300 muzzle velocity will autoload very easily. Without this gun ever being fired and broken in, I found it to be very impressive handling home defense loads without any hiccups. We fired approximately 75 rounds of home defense loads today.
