CZ-70 Opinions?

I've seen them for $80 in Shotgun News, and they seem like a fun little gun, just for you know what and giggles. Does anyone have any opinions or experiences with them?

Thanks

Yes, I recently got two of them. Very very good condition. Looked like the barrels had never had bullets through them.

Sure the DA pull is severe, but to chamber a round you must putt back the slide which automatically cocks the hammer. The only way to shoot these DA is to manually decock the hammer.

I am working on my accuracy. The drawback so far is the front sight which is very smooth and hard to focus on.

I painted it orange, and the rear sights green. Will take it out today for test targets with the new set up.

One fine this is the loaded chamber indicator at the left read side of the slide. Slide stays locked open after last round is fired. In fact these are very close copies of the Walther PP/PPK giuns (size of the PP). Magazine holds 8 rounds (.32acp). you can buy spare parts and magazines easily.

Truly a fun gun.

I've got a CZ-50, which is basically the same gun, just older.

A friend bought a Walther PPK in .32 at about the same time, and my CZ-50 is much more accurate, about the same size, and about a quarter of the cost...

The only problem with these guns is parts, but little things like firing pins can generally be found (however, they are pricey.)

Magazines are the biggest bugaboo -- as most people with either of these guns experience big problems with the mags. They can be tweaked. Buy a couple of new mags from CDNN ($20?)
