CZ 602

I have a chance to buy a CZ 602 BRNO rifle, no scope or rings. I looked around and they go for about $800 depending on the seller.

The rifle is chambered in 8mm-.378, I was thinking of changing it to .338 LM as this one is an odd ball that the owner wanted. I know he spent alot of money on it making it the way he wanted but I don't want to deal with such an odd round. That and it has about a 24" extremely heavy barrel, so heavy that the rifle weighs about 20 pounds!

I'm guessing that the action is long enough to accommodate the .338 LM, so all I would have to do is a barrel swap. With a slimmer profile barrel it should knock off at least 5+ pounds or more.

So, what's TFL think? Pass or buy?
