I think I really have to stop browsing internet.
Me and my friends are planning for a hog hunting trip, later on this year. So I'm looking for a bolt action rifle for the trip. I found one, a CZ 550 American .243win. I bought the rifle, and scoped it. It was a nice rifle and I like it.
Later on after I spent TOO MUCH time on internet, I heard that .308win would be cool to have and good, maybe even better than .243win for hog and deer. So I spent some free time checking.
While I was browsing around, I found this beautiful mannlicher rifle for sale. it is a CZ 550 FS .308win !!!!!
Now, I'm in love ........ again !!!!
I couldn't resist the temptation, I contacted the gun shop, made some negotiation, and at the end, I had the rifle in my hands. I was so excited. The rifle's beautiful !!!!
Yesterday was a really nice day. I had a chance to swing by AGC with the rifle for a quick fun. I did an initial sighted in @ 50yds, open sights, using Winchester 150gr. power-point.
The rifle was easy to aim, shoot and handle, very well balance. I wish I have more time and ammo to break in the rifle. I think I'm going to visit the range again on Monday.
So range report:
The rifle = winner , the rifle is so enjoy to shoot. best group is around an inch @ 50 yds, shooting with open sights (front rest).
Me= FUN and a sore shoulder !!!!
