Isn't there an individual or a company that will re-work the CZ 527
magazine to where it fits flush like on a Remington 700 rifle?
Seems like I have seen them in the past.

Thanks

I'm not familiar with another company doing that, but CZ now markets the 527 with a 3 shot, flush magazine and I have one on my .223/527.

You are speaking of the "CZ 527 M1 American" and not the "CZ 527 American". The bottom metal, trigger guard, and stock are all different on that model and you can use the new 3 round magazine in the "527 American" it requires the "527 M1 American" trigger guard or modification of the existing trigger guard.

My rifle is the mod 527 American, and when I ordered it there was a choice, I chose the 3 shot flush magazine. The box does say 527 M1 American.

I’m not sure what the application is here, but I use one of James Calhoon’s single shot flush fit followers when bench shooting my 527 .223. It is much easier to work with and quicker than constantly reloading the 3 or 5 round magazines. Check them out here. :)

He did an excellent job on my 527 Hornet for $65, shortening the mag, removing the triangular webs between the front of the trigger guard and bottom metal, then refinishing the worked areas to match the factory finish.

The issue, longer factory mags still fit, if I feel the need for firepower.

My conversion was done B4 there was a M1, but I'd be willing to bet that it's still cheaper than M1 parts and doing it yourself.

Just my personal opinion I think the conversion kit is a little bit of a waste of time as you are taking away the stamina of the rifle. its about preformance not looks when it comes to hunting (the real kind of shooting). As i use my cz 527 for foxes pigs goats and small deer ..and most fun of all bunnies and its an inconvienence when you are wasting time reloading the mag and if its only a 3 shot mag you are going to be doing that alot.

i have been looking everywhere for a 10 shot mag for mine but i dont think they exist. so ive been looking around for someone who has made a 10 shot mag or knows of a company who has done this

can anybody help me with this?
