Anyone has the CZ 223 Carbine? it has a 16.5" barrel, would love some info on this one? Accurazy , what would be the difference in reach between this barrel and a 21" barrel ?
I have a 527 American in .223 with the 21.9" barrel. I like the rifle a lot. It's accurate and reliable. Aside from shooting a lighter bullet than my ARs due to its 1 in 12 twist The gun is light enough and well made. I use it on small furry critters reserving my ARs for coyote and the likes. The 21.9" barrel will have a bit more velocity than the 16". It might be as much as 3-400fps faster at the barrel than the carbine. I've never had mine on a chrono so I can't say for certain.
i have one in 7,62x39, very tough and reliable, pretty accurate. magazin release isnt very comfortable but youll get used to it. A good rifle for a very good price.
I say get one!
