CZ-52 for CCW?

It's a big gun and has a lot of sharp edges. The cartridge has a bit of an over penetration problem as well. There are many better options for a CCW.
A Makarov or even a CZ-50/CZ-70 would be much better if you insist on inexpensive surplus.

Opt for the 9mm version..as the guys are very Correct. The .30 mauser cartridge is a screamer.
The price on a 52 is quite good. Aprox. $150 thru J&G. If you can carry a big gun..then go for it.
If you need more info on the 52 or any CZ guns. you can
jump to websites from the CZ ZONE.
Right now the big interest is in the $300.00 CZ-40s. maybe
george and a few TFL lovers of the CZ will support CZUB
buy purchasing yet another fine CZ product?
For those of you that have the CZ-40s with the Colt
markings removed and in DA/SA..not DAO. I need pics!
As my CZ factory catalog only shows the ColtZ40 in DAO.
As for Holsters. FALCO makes an excellent shoulder rig for
the big 52. Along with MAK holsters and for every CZ model
it seems.

to CZF members on his products. The current 75B holsters
wont fit the decocker models,. but that is being remedied.

CZ75ID, I didn't know quite how to navigate CZ Zone- I couldn't find any CZ-52 links. Can you give a few instructions?

No links for CZ52s, i'm helping with a CZ Home Gunsmithing Page that will be added to on a regular basis. I don't know much about 52s or the military pistols, CZ70, ect.
Lots of interest in the CZ83, now that warmer weather has
crept upon us.
I'll try to post a J&G SALES Link on the Jump ZONE.
Right now i have CZF, Talk City's CZ ZONE. A SAP yahoo club.
and other sites..and link stations to attend to.
All in promotion of the CZ products as they deserve to be to
the American and worldwide shooting community. FUN!
NO gunmaker has as good a Customer Service reputation//how
many places will the Gunsmith talk to you thru , step by step with a problem? Being small and unknown at one time.
CZ-USA is making great strides in ISPC IDPA related sales.
As the shooting sports grow..and new shooters want rock-
