Has anyone ever fired the CZ 452 Rimfire (the American version or the "standard" or the varmint model? How accurate are they? How durable are they? Tell me your opinions/experiences with this gun!--PS---According to Outdoor life, it can get .6" groups from 100 yards....thats pretty impressive!

I handled one a while back. Very well-made, very accurate. I really like the Cz stuff, and will hopefully be able to get one myself in the near future. You'll like it.

Shot my first one in '82. Bought one in '86. Would have been worth five times the selling price before I even had to think about it, like every other CZ I've ever seen. Took the scope off immediately, as it wasn't as good as the iron sights. The reliability has been perfect, and it's .....

Well, it's a CZ, isn't it?

I have heard nothing but good things about them. A local guy has a 527 (.22 Hornet) that is shooting very well. All of them I've seen were nice, and quite a bargain. Finding the correct scope rings has been a source of some problems (odd groove size). I've heard that the Millett rings work just fine, or buy the CZ rings.

Put it this way - I plan on buying a CZ-452 as my first firearm once my license goes through.
Followed by another CZ gun - a CZ-52.
