CZ-40 B Anyone else tried one yet?

I picked up one a couple of weeks ago and have only been able to get it to the range twice since then. Much less expensive than the Colt Z40 I saw today (asking was $1,000). Guess I'm going to have to start saving my pennies.

Accurate. Shoots well. Prefers 155 grain fodder over 180 grain. Doesn't handle the .40 recoil as well as the CZ 75B in .40 does. The CZ 75B .40 mags will work in the CZ 40, but not vice versa. Points like a M1911 (well, duh!), but much thicker in the grip due to the double-stack mags. Decent sights.

All in all, definitely a keeper.

CZ40B

I bought one a couple of months ago for $290 NIB. I enjoy the amalgamation of 1911 and CZ75 features, but the creepy trigger needs fixed. It has a nice appearance, function and fit. I believe it's a keeper.

I've had my CZ 40 B for about 2 months and have put aroud 800 rds through, and I am very impressed with it performance.. The only thing I would willingly change is the pull on the trigger.. But as is,It fits my hand perfect and I am shooting tighter patterns than I have ever shot.. Go CZ!!!

I really believe my CZ40B cost $269 + Shipping+ tax. It was through a friend and I get deals. I gave less than $300 all together. I like the pistol; it prefers lighter bullets and so do I. I am sure the 40 S&W looses any advantage to the average shooter when using factory 180gr bullets. The accuracy in mine isn't as good and the recoil is up there with the 45acp when shooting 180gr bullets. I like the grip but it isn't a 1911A1. As to holsters it seems any Sig P220, P226, or P228 holster will work. I know they are bringing the CZ40B out in 9mm but this would be a jewel in 45acp. Regards, Richard

Today I fired my new CZ40B for the first time, and all went VERY well, except with the Witness Hi-Cap mags. The next to last round hung up on the top of the chamber every time, with each of three mags, and with each of three factory loads I tried.

Any suggestions?
