Cynergy Euro sporting

Cynergy

Many more seem to like the way the gun shoots than its "Euro-trash" styling. There is also a "classic" version that looks more traditional -- see the Browning website. The Citori remains very popular -- a little heavier, a little sharper pistol grip -- try to shoot both - they are different!

I've shot some of the Cynergy models - sporting, etc - in 12 and 20ga and there isn't anything wrong with them. I don't own any Cynergy models either - but that is because the Browning Citori is the gun I've grown up with and I'm not inclined to change now ...

Its a question of "fit" over style ...

I own a dozen or more of various Citori models ....but only 3 or 4 of the Citori models (out of 24, I think ) really "Fit" me .... Like the 525, 625 series - beautiful guns / but they have so much drop at the comb that they push the flesh in my face back into my cheek bone / vs recoiling under the cheek bone - so they beat the daylights out of me ( and so does any gun with that much drop at the comb ) ....but that's just me .... so not even all the Citori models are good guns for me personally ...

I have handled Citoris, but I have not had the opportunity to shoot one. From what I have read and heard it is one of the worlds most respected over/under shotguns.

With all that said, I just bought a Cynergy Classic Sporting with 30" barrels. I have had it about 3 weeks, and put my 675th round through it yesterday. I absolutely love the shotgun. It seems slimmer and a bit more nimble than the Citori to me.

I also have a Beretta 686, and the Cynergy seems more "Beretta like". As far as the styling of the Cynergy, I'm not put off by it, and again from all I have read the "Inflex" recoil pad is very effective. I do prefer the classic styling, but I wouldn't rule out a "Euro" style Cynergy.
