Cylinder throat size

Miked my Dan Wesson 445 SM cylinder throates with a ball gauge and they measure .428-.4285". Suspected something wrong when a .429 bullet would not pass through. Should I be concerned. Just got it but haven't put it on paper yet.

Okay, you've measured the cylinder throats - now, what does the forcing cone and bore measure? The only way to get great accuracy is if the throats, forcing cone and bore are all nearly identical in diameter. Don't worry about that .001" constriction in the cylinder, it will keep the bullet parallel to the bore.
