Cylinder Reaming

I have an old model Blackhawk .357 that three chambers measure about .3565and three measure .3580. I am interested in reaming chambers first to get them all the same size and second to size them properly for shooting cast bullets. If I have the chambers reamed to all be .358 for cast bullets what can I expect for jacketed bullet accuracy at that point. I will primarely shoot cast but of course I would like good performance with Jacketed (.357) bullets as well.

Hello, MSD Mike, I for one would want them all the same uniform size...but if you are wondering what the larger .358 dia. would do..you said three are already .358 dia. just mark those chambers..felt pen, nail polish, & try some jacketed loads thru them. Your only talking .001" between jac. dia. & cyl. bore.... .0005" or 1/2 of 1 thou. per side. If you have a micrometer, or caliper, set it to that dim., hold up to light & see just how small that really is.
