I have a Ruger single-six convertable .22lr/.22mag. SA, shoots great, I'm trying to get better with it. I put a light behind the cylinder and cone and the gap is wider at the top. I took a 10 thou. feeler gauge ( thinest I got) and it would not go in at the bottom of gap. At the top of gap the gauge feels like it wants to tightly go in but can't cause of the top strap. I have not contacted Ruger about this yet, gun is 14 months old. I was told by Ruger last year the gap is supposed to be 3-9 thou. cause it looked wide then but I did not notice the difference from top to bottom at that time. Is this worth looking into with Ruger or is this common and just let it go and enjoy it cause I really like this little shooter. Thanks, Richard.
