CWP and employers/businesses

Does anyone know what ability employers and businesses in the state of florida have to restrict a lawfully licensed CWP permit holder?

This is the state of Florida, and I see nothing in the statutes pertaining to this.

state law

I don't know if there's any particular quirks in FL law, but generally speaking a business or employer can completely prohibit the carry of weapons on their property, even if you have a CWP.

More and more companies, and state offices, are getting more and more power of the people that work for them. In MI, you can be fired and denied a job if you smoke. The same is in Florida (forgot the county that enacted this).

So if they can get this far into your life and make you do as they say, at work or while at home, what makes them think that they can't take away Rights at the same time? :barf:

It won't be long before the employer and the state can tell you what you can, and can't, do even on your off time and get away with it.

Correct me if im wrong, but this is how i think it is in PA at least.

They cant legaly restrict you, but its thier property, so they can. Basically, you can be fired, but not criminaly prosecuted unles you refuse to leave when they ask you too (trespassing)

CWPand employers/business

Missouri Employers, Businesses and Private property owners have the Right to prohibit people from CCW on their premises even with a CCW.
