CW9 vs. G19 ?

Closer comparison would be the G26 and CW9, with the Glock being 1/4 thicker.

I personally have a G23 and CM9. I can pocket carry the Kahr and almost forget I'm carrying. The G23 isn't terribly uncomfortable to carry IWB all day. You just have to dress around the gun a little more.

So I'd day both, Karh for summer carry and Glock for Winter.

I've said it many times before, I carrid Kahr's for a long time and never had much luck with their poly line. If you have one with issues, it can be a real headache to get it working right. I would personally choose the G19. Easily concealable, reliable and has a ton of after market stuff for you to hang off it or put it in.

Between these two, I'd choose the CW9. Thinner (easier to conceal), feels far better in my hand, I shoot them better and I prefer the smooth DA trigger.

But the next poster will probably be the exact opposite, so what does that tell you :p ?

Being an ordinary citizen in an average city, I never feel "undergunned" carrying a CW9 so I go for single-stack comfort nearly all the time... unless I'm in a certain mood. I shoot my CW9 VERY accurately and it's never faltered on reliability once since out-of-box.

Its tough to compare a single stack to a double stack, even their actions are different. I own a G19 and it is one of my all time favorites, but it was also my first pistol purchase... I will say that I perfer my S&W 3913NL for daily carry though, it is easier with the slim single stack design and its weight is great.

Ive been carrying a CM9 pretty consistently lately. I have a 26 and 19 also that I have carried. The thinner Kahr is just much easier to carry. I know the CW9 is bigger, but being thinner than the Glock.makes a big difference.

I have a Glock 23 and Kahr K40 (previously had a CW40). Off duty I carry the Kahr almost exclusively, rarely carry the 23 despite the fact the K40 and 23 are very close in weight. The Kahr is much easier to carry and conceal IMO, the CW9 would carry even easier.

I have carried both the G26 and the Kahr CM9 - the Kahr is MUCH better suited to pocket carry, the Glock is just too blocky and large for pocket use.

I like the CW9 it is my throw it on and go gun. I recently sold my last Glock and it was a 19. Nothing wrong with it but it is larger than the CW9 and there are lots of other guns the same size as the 19 so it got sold.

The 19 is a great gun. It is a wonder 9 that can play many rolls. If you already have the CW9 get a Glock and carry both.

Not in this lifetime or any other... would I saddle myself with a G19. No freaking way.
I have a G27 and it gets on my nerves iwb after a couple hours.

I carried a PM9 all day every day until I slowly migrated back to my LCP.

Vote is for the CW9, but would encourage you to take a close look at the CM9 too.
