hey guys just letting you know just got my cva scout in 30-06 today. stainless steel fluted barrel. slapped a 6-24x50mm vortex crossfire on it, and hope to shoot it this weekend. if i get the time to shoot ill be sure to post my results. the overall feel of the gun is very nice. great for a big scope like that, with no scope it was a little heavier in the rear, but the scope balanced the gun perfectly. came with durasight integral mounts, which are medium but they fit my 50mm scope with a hair of room to spare so i'm not sure where they get the medium from. trigger is probably around 3 to 3 1/2 lbs and absolutely creep free. i'm not sure but i don't think it is adjustable. nice crushzone recoil pad. not crazy about where the breeching lever is, like my accura design better. the barrel is free floated with the exception of where the forend connects. silent open and closing. synthetic stock is actually very strong/stiff but i went ahead and foamed it anyways. gun is very light 5lb 8oz prior to addition of scope. hope it doesn't kick too hard! overall very happy!:D:D:D:D

well shot the gun and at 100 yards was only getting around 3 inch groups. then i realized my front lens on my scope was just flopping around. so its going to be a while before i can post results, but still happy with the gun. very little felt recoil shooting 180 winchester round nose. plan on reloading some 165 hornady sp when i get time. put 20 rounds through it and could have shot a lot more. for such a light gun this thing does not punish you. the scope weight i'm sure helps, but i wouldn't be afraid to get this gun in a magnum caliber.
