CVA Bobcat and BP Pellets

I have a CVA Bobcat that a friend gave me and I wanted to know if using the blackpowder pellets would be advisable in this gun. I don't know if their is much of a difference in the pellets compared to the loose powder, so I thought I'd ask the experts here. It has just the standard #11 nipple, and I can't seem to find a musket nipple replacement anywhere. Will the #11 caps have enough fire to light up the highly compressed pellets?

Thanks in advance.

Using BP pellets in a side-hammer gun is not a good idea. While it does work, the side mounted nipple is not in the propper place to ignite the pellets. Ignition is not reliable, even with hotter musket caps. Use loose powder in side-hammers and pellets in in-lines.

Yeah, that's just about what I figured with the pellets. I kinda got the idea that the #11's just couldn't do it after firing off 5-6 of them and not one single puff of smoke from the end of the barrell with a full load on.
