Customizing a FEG HiPower clone?

There are several threads running that deal with the FEG HiPower clone, which gave me the idea of asking who has experience with customizing these guns. I know that C&S does full custom jobs based on the FEG, but I just want to do a few enhancements to mine -- better trigger (probably C&S), a larger safety, better sights, and maybe a different slide release.

Anyone here know from personal experience which of the above aftermarket parts for the Browning will fit the FEG? Any parts that you know won't fit without extensive work? I'm fairly handy and have done a good number of small modification projects on various guns, but need to restrict myself to jobs that can be done with hand tools and a Dremel.

I had mine done at C&S....it's not an FEG but your enhancements are just what I had done, minus the slide release...pretty much all you need on a hi-power....here's a pic of mine

Novack sights, matte finish on top of slide, safety and trigger job...my only complaint about their safety was the color....sort of a brown...I called and asked why it wasn't blue and they told me that they weld an extension on the stock saftey (not yours, you get that back if you ask)....and supposedly it doesn' take to bluing after that....otherwise a great job...

Combat Handguns had a article about a customized PJK-9HP a year or two ago. The smith in question put in a Bar-Sto barrel, some trigger work, grips...???

And complimented the basic innards of the FEG.

No mention of any problems with fit on any of the parts mentioned. And I doubt any of them were specific to the FEG. Prolly all BHP parts.

I put the C&S ambi safety on my PJK and a set of Spegel Rosewood grips. Here is my PJK with a Mr. Softy IWB holster from High Noon Holsters and the grips from Pick-A-Grip . I like dealing with Pick-A-Grip because you can see exactly which pair of grips you're going to get.
