I am interested in buying my first 1911, therefore I read this forum with great interest.I know this dates me(56) but i
remember a time when a gun had a lifetime
warranty so I am very concerned as to why
a company like Kimber has only (I believe)
one year. I have read a lot of negative
comments about Kimber products,however with
Springfield this does not seem to be the case.My question is how long will Kimber survive.I have written their customer service
but no answers,I guess they dont want new customers. It really is a shame if their product is as good as many of you say.I own
Ruger guns, write them and an answered is received in a short time, sometimes extra
parts are with an order;A company not concerned with its customers cannot continue.
