Custom work for sw 3913??

What kind of work are you looking to have done? If you like, please e-mail me at egertc@wcc.net. I think I can get you what you would like.

I don't actually have one, but am thinking about equipping my wife with one. I was checking to see if any smiths out there cater to these guns. I probably would be interested in smoothing up the action a bit, maybe dehorn. Of course, it may be fine, right out of the box.

Try Wayne Novak in Parkersburg, WV. He does excellent custom work on 'Smiths ( and Browning Hi-powers).

Cylinder and Slide worked over my 4006 and its slicker than glass. ultra reliabile and feeds anything. they have a waiting list though so call for lead times.

The 3913 TSW would probably have all the refinements you would want or need.
I truly believe that if you opt for the TSW
and will, end the end, say ALOT of money and time WAITING the ole' 6to8 weeks deal.My 3913 shots well, under 2 inches @ 25 yards with all types of ammo and has NEVER jammed. It likes Speer GD and Georgia Arms GD best in 115 and 124grain.
Spend the extra $$$ upfront it'll be slightly more than shippimg you regular 3913 back-and-forth. With the extra $$$ you'll save you can buy yourself an additional gun.
ONE for her and ___ for you...

Teddy did a very nice job in slicking up my 4013TSW. Trigger pull was much improved after he smoothed the action. Polished and radiused trigger, swapped the spur hammer from a 4006, removed RH thumb safety. Jeweled hammer and port section of barrel. Recrowned barrel. Major work cannot be seen. The internals were polished and adjusted for complete reliabilty. All for less than $300!

Thats a nice pistol bk.
I wonder if a spur hammer can be put in a 3913?
Looks like Teedy does what I am looking for.
What was the turn around time?

I would also let Teddy Jacobson work on your 3913. When I lived in Houston, I would drive my stuff down to his place in Suger Land. Always about 10 day turnaround and always done right. He did several Smif revolovers and several SIGs for me. He did an action job on a friend's 3913 that is simply amazing. Fair prices, reasonable turnaround and a stand up guy. What more could you want?

nobody,
turnaround time was about a month. Teddy gives LEO's duty weapons top priority.

944Turbo, you are correct about Teddy's action jobs. Have to be felt to be believed.

One thing about Teddy is he will not let a pistol leave his shop that is not 100% reliable and safe! If he sees that a part needs replacing, he replaces it. Great guy and can't recommend him highly enough.

I was originally thinking about getting one for my wife, but after seeing BK40's, I think I will get one for muself as well. His and hers. Ain't that sweet. Maybe for Valentines day.

I had a 3954 (single stack DAO compact 9mm) done by Actions by 'T'. It didn't look like the one in the picture as all I had done was the action job. It was a great improvement and I highly recommend his work on S&W autos.
