Custom paint job on a pistol

I was wondering if anybody knows where I can get a custom paint job on my M&P 45 pistol. I want to get an Israeli flag painted on it. Any sources/links would be much appreciated.

Did you ever consider that maybe Lakings is from Israel? It is HIS gun and what HE wants. I don't think he would have wasted his time posting this thread if he wasn't serious.

Yes, I did consider it. And again..."to each his own" That is what makes this country great!!
You just don't see very many "custom painted pistols". Or atleast I haven't seen that many.

I woiuld think that just about anybody with experience in the custom model and/or auto painting game could do it, but I would have to wonder if it would last for any time under the rigors of carry and shooting, if that is an issue. Otherwise, I'd think having an engraving would be the better route.

Did you really think he wasn't being serious? Even after he posted it 2 different times and you asked "seriously" in each thread?

I only asked him seriously once. My concern would be the wear issue also. Not the fact of what he has painted on it. I know holster wear can remove blueing and on stainless can produce shiny spots.

Maybe he's not intending to shoot it? My dad buys all sorts of musical instrument he doesn't know how to play just so he can put a cool finish on it and put it on the wall...

A good possibility there.

Me personally, I would go for engraving too. Then maybe a nice custom finish but leave the engraving stainless to make it pop.
